Why We Built This Site
Public access is useful only when a request reaches the office that created the record. The Isabella County Sheriff keeps deputy reports and county booking material. D76 begins every adult criminal case, while C21 carries a felony after bindover. Michigan State Police operates ICHAT and the statewide repository; MDOC operates OTIS; and PSOR serves a different public-safety purpose. We assemble the verified contacts, official search links, request routes, and known fees for those distinct systems.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: current routes to the Sheriff, Trial Court, Michigan State Police, and other record custodians
- Record guides: practical help searching and reading Isabella County court cases
- Official checks: the differences between ICHAT name searches and fingerprint-based personal review
- Record relief: Michigan set-aside and Clean Slate sources, including the court filing route
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of an Isabella County or Michigan agency. That means several services remain outside our role:
- We do not issue certified court files, police reports, rap sheets, or registry records
- We cannot submit FOIA requests, set-aside applications, or court papers for a reader
- We do not run official criminal-history or fingerprint checks
- We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, or case as legal advice
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, address, or procedure
An official record must come from the Sheriff, the responsible court, Michigan State Police, or the other office that maintains it.
Search Partners
Outside companies power some search boxes. They control their services, prices, privacy practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral payment that supports free access to this resource. We do not set the provider's fees or decide what its result includes.
